• Question: Why do we have 4 seasons? Why not 5 or 6?

      Hi 🙂 The only reason we have 4 seasons, is because humans decided it would be this way. Seasons are associated with our position in orbit around the Sun during a year, and so the weather and temperatures change gradually over time. There could be 5, 6, 7 or even 8 if you wanted!

      In India they say they have 6 seasons.

      Sometimes I think we only have one season in England!
