      I know how you feel!

I’ve always had low self esteem. We quite often talk about some thing called “impostor syndrom” where you think your not as clever as everyone around and they are going to realise soon and throw you out. When I look at other people or thier work I can be quite balanced about how well they are achieving but myself I’m so much harder on, I never feel I’m doing well enough.
So my advice is try not to be too hard on yourself. If you feel like that its because probably being too hard on yourself. Something someone else suggested to me was everytime someone says something positive to you write it on a post it note somewhere youll see it. I’m very good at remembering negative feedback and forgetting the good things, so I found that helpful.

Also you do become more confident with time. I used to be v nervous giving presentations, feeling very sick before and hardly being able to speak. Now I’ve given alot, I’m carmer, I’m not confident at it by any means but I can do it. I’m just trying to say everything does get easier the more you do it and you get more confident about it and that you can do it!

Also try to remember lots of other people feel the same, even when you think they don’t! so talking to someone who’s feeling the same about things can really help you realise that theres others going though the same thing as you.
