I was lucky when deciding my PhD because I knew exactly what I wanted to do – hunt for planets. And the best place in the UK to do that is right here at Warwick.

However I was a lot less sure where to go when picking my first university (for undergraduate). I ended up at University College London, partly because it was a good university, but mostly because I thought living in the centre of London as a student would be awesome. And it was! I ended up changing degrees along the way from Geology to a more Astrophysics-based course.

So don’t worry if you’re not sure exactly what to study or where you want to go – you’ll have a great time anywhere!
