      I’ve never been into space myself, but I use data from huge telescopes like this one – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVCFc0ZiRt8 – to study how distant galaxies are forming stars, what they’re made of, how they rotate and interact with each other. Galaxies looked a lot different to the Milky Way in the past.
