Not quite! I’ve thought about it when I’ve been having a really bad day or two, but made myself push through, and it always so worth it in the end!

Not so far. Some days things don’t work out, and you wonder if you’re doing the right thing. You need determination to keep going.

Nope, but sometimes I felt a bit stuck. I think maybe you saw me say this in our chat earlier, but when I first applied for PhDs I got some offers but not my ‘dream job’ offer.. so I decided to take a sort of gap year, doing internships in astronomy 🙂 This actually turned out brilliantly because I got to gain lots more experience, live in Berlin for 3 months with one of my best friends, and THEN start my dream job!
Sometimes my GCSEs / A Levels / degree was really hard too, but you just have to keep on pushing through and remind yourself it’s worth it in the end. No one likes exams!
